Dear Friends, many of you were telling us lately about having difficulties to get the necessary fertility medication in your home country. We have spent some time searching for opportunities for you to have access to all the necessary medication.
Online Pharmacy Nij Apotheek B.V. in Netherlands was recommended to us by many satisfied German patients and colleagues.
www.kiwu-apotheke.de
(“kiwu” – is an abbreviation often used by German fertility patients for the word Kinderwunsch = baby wish)
They can ship in all EU countries.
We are still looking for solutions for all dear non-EU patients.
From now on, when sending you your treatment plan per e-mail, we will also send you prescription for all medication included up and until your arrival to St. Petersburg + 30% extra in case dosages need to be increased.
If you wish to receive cost proposal from the pharmacy, you will just have to e-mail your prescriptions to:
info@kiwu-apotheke.de
You can tell them directly whether you need all the medication listed in prescription or just some of those.
We suggest that medication that you need after embryo transfer you buy in S. Petersburg, because it is significantly cheaper than in EU. Please tell your coordinator if you still wish to receive the standard estimate of medication for the whole pregnancy in advance. Please note it will be very basic since treatment is individualized.
After embryo transfer you will also need to take Progesterone injections daily for 10 weeks: 25 mg of intra-muscular oil progesterone (available in St. Petersburg) in the evening and 25 mg of water based subcutaneous progesterone in the morning (not available in Russia). This is the best opportunity to have hormones in blood at stable levels and reduce risk of miscarriage. Commercial names of water based progesterone: Prolutex, Inprosub, Progiron.
Hence we also will add prescription for subcutaneous progesterone that you can order in the same online pharmacy.
For all dear you who have already received your treatment plans earlier and wish to have prescriptions: please just tell your assigned coordinator, who will send you prescriptions shortly.
