Sunday afternoon and Monday I had lots of very nice meetings one-to-one with single women and couples who have attended our seminar in Stockholm on Sunday 6 October. Now on a train from Stockholm to Malmoe, before I start writing individual letters to everyone who had 10 min talks with me these days, I thought I share with you some photos from Sunday’s seminar.
It was very warm seminar. It started by Lina’s speech about her journey to having sweet Nicholas. Before having come to us Lina has had 6 IUIs and 3 IVFs in Denmark and 2 egg donations in Spain. We have done IVF with own eggs in our clinic, the first embryo transfer did not work, the second embryo transfer after hysteroscopy has resulted in Nicholas.
After I was finished with my lecture Cilla Holm had her cozy and warm seminar about ethical, emotional and social aspects of treatment abroad, treatment as single, egg donation and embryo adoption.
Dear Cilla and Lina, as I said in the seminar, it is remarkable, that even while being in the middle of your long and dramatic fertility journeys you always found time and energy to give information and support to others in similar situation. THANK YOU!
