Finally, last night Cyprus Parliament approved the new IVF Law!

Single women will get an easy access to fertility treatment in the Republic of Cyprus!

Over the last years local and international single women had to go many extra miles to get access to fertility treatment in the Republic of Cyprus. They had to personally apply by the Cyprus Ministry of Health and had to wait months “to be approved”. Application included information about a single woman’s social and medical situation, her motivation why she wanted to become a mother as single, a letter from a psychiatrist about her mental health and a letter from the police office from her local country about clean legal history.
During this year together with our single women coming for treatment by O.L.G.A. Fertility in Cyprus we spent hours, days and weeks preparing applications, calling and emailing the Ministry, reminding, asking, begging 🙏🥺🥺🥺
It feels like freedom this morning and the sun is coming on the horizon ☀️
I cannot express how happy and relieved I am that from now on we can offer an easy and simple, just normal fertility treatment process in Cyprus to all dear single women up to the age of 50 who need our help🫶 And we are happy to take care of dear single women up to the age of 53 in our hometown St. Petersburg🫶
I am so grateful to my amazing colleagues in Cyprus who were doing everything possible to achieve these law changes for single women! Thank you thank you so much🙏🫶
