As promised before, we are monitoring the situation with the international travel and keep investigating good options of coming to St. Petersburg these days.
Today we would like to share with you three pieces of good news.
First of all, from the end of September – beginning of October Swiss airline is planning to start flights from Scandinavian countries to St. Petersburg and back through Zurich.
We believe that this option is highly likely to be reliable soon because Russia has had an open border with Switzerland since 15th August and there is now already a stable air connection with Geneva.

Secondly, Wizz Air is planning to launch more direct flights between Scandinavia and St. Petersburg in the coming future:
- With Copenhagen from 16 October (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
- With Stockholm Skavsta from 15 December (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday)
- With Oslo Gardermoen from 15 December (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday)
All three of these routes are not confirmed yet and are now pending regulatory approval by the authorities.
And third good news for today:
Travelling through London now has become easier for Swedish citizens.
From the 12th of September, The UK added Sweden to the list of countries with no self-isolation requirement on arrival in England (Denmark and Norway have already been on this list). You will still need to provide your journey and contact details before you travel. See guidance on entering or returning to the UK.
