Admira got an amazing baby girl using own eggs and PGT-A in OLGA Clinic after 7 unsuccessful egg retrievals in local clinics

Admira had 7 egg retrievals in local clinics and never a single blastocysts. Later she had 3 egg retrievals in St. Petersburg with 3 blastocysts each time. Out of 9 blastocysts 3 appeared to be chromosomally normal. After second embryo transfer in St.Petersburg Admira got her daughter. One chromosomally normal embryo is waiting for Admira in August.

Individualized stimulation helps to achieve more competent eggs and viable blastocysts. PGT-A helps to find those blastocysts, which have a normal number of chromosomes and use them for the future transfer with 50% chance of live birth per embryo. Finding implantation window and transferring embryo in a specifically prepared endometrium in the right timing increases the chances of implantation.

A ☀️M ⚓️ R A 🦋 @admirovich:

"Our IVF journey started in 2018 in Sweden when I was 37 years old. After 7 unsuccessful egg retrievals I realised I needed something else because both my mind and body were going crazy.

Considering my age I straight away knew I wanted to have our embryos PGTA tested. And to be honest it was not just PGTA I needed. I needed somebody to take my case seriously and adapt my treatment plan to my needs. After some research (that we should have done earlier) we found OLGA.

Then another unexpected roadblock came — COVID. More tears, more anxiety, researching new clinics in Europe… what should we do next? We sat down and asked ourself… what would we do if it doesn’t work out with other clinic in Europe? Answer was easy, we would go for OLGA.

We quickly realised that we don’t want to go for the next best option even if we were in the middle of Covid crises. We decided on OLGA even though we didn’t know how we would get into the country. And what a great decision it was! OLGA team was amazing during this challenging period. Both when it comes to COVID challenges but also our treatment.

After 3 retrievals we finally got a positive test result. 2022 this little lady made an entrance into this world and changed our lives forever! ❤️ We are forever grateful to the OLGA team that made our family complete."
