“Our IVF journey began in 2019. After three inseminations and three IVF treatments without success, the doctors in Denmark assured us nothing was wrong — just bad luck.

Medical history by the first consultation in OLGA Clinic, March 2023
Olga:
- 34 years old, healthy.
- No pregnancies before,
- AMH 10/02/23 :13 pmol/l (1,86 mcg/L) AFC about 7+6
- In February 2020: hydrosonography (HSG), normal passage through both fallopian tubes.
- In July 2022: hysteroscopy, endometrial polyp removal
Lars:
- 34 years old, healthy
- Sperm test: 5.5 ml, concentration 45 mln/ml, 56% progressive motility, 72% total motility
- Trying for a baby since 2016
- 3 IUI in 2020, 3 egg retrievals and 3 fresh ETs in blastocyst stage in 2020-2022
- No pregnancy

Finding out reasons of repeated implantation failure
A right-sided hydrosalpinx was suspected by our doctor Svetlana Murashko in Ultrasound examination performed in Cyprus during stimulation.
A presence of hydrosalpinx decreases implantation rates by 30%, compared to no hydrosalpinx.
12/09/2023 Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy in Denmark. The hydrosalpinx confirmed, the right fallopian tube removed. Pelvic adhesions dissected.
No anatomical problems in uterus cavity found.
Histology: leucocytes infiltration — microscopic signs of inflammation in the endometrium.
The findings indicated a chronic inflammatory process in the uterus and right fallopian tube.
Therapy after the laparoscopy: antibacterial therapy (doxycycline 10 days), antifungal medication (fluconazole), Probiotics.
- November 2023: ERA+ ALICE+EMMA test.
- ERA test – endometrium receptive 129 h after the start of Progesterone
- EMMA+ALICE test: Escherichia coli (pathogen related to chronic endometritis) detected in endometrium sample.
- Therapy after EMMA test: antibacterial therapy (Amoksiklav for 10 days), antifungal medication (fluconazole), Probiotics.
- 07/12/2023 transfer of a single Euploid blastocyst by ERA test

What helped OLGA team achieve a baby within just one embryo transfer after 3 failed IVF / 3ETs in Denmark?
- Focus on eggs energy and maturity which helped to get a competent cohort of eggs
- Excellent fertilization and cultivation techniques which brought 5 blastocysts
- PGT-A to exclude abnormal blastocysts and select the only one normal in the pool received. Only 1 out of 5 was chromosomally normal, which is lower than expected at the age of 34 (1 out of 2 is expected statistically).
