My path towards my profession
There were no doctors in my family, but I always knew that I wanted to become one. I graduated from Petrozavodsk State University with honors. I continued my internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology already after I carried and gave birth to my son. Вy that time, I realized how much support a woman needs during this sensitive period and what kind of support it should be.
Profession of an obstetrician-gynecologist requires a lot of devotion, constant self-education, patience and physical strength alongside with good communication skills, audaciousness and determination. This job attracts people with strong spirits as it demands fast and high-impact decisions. An obstetrician-gynecologist is responsible not only for a mother of a child, but for a child itself, and this fact leads to a special psychological approach during work.
I became an obstetrician-gynecologist because it is great happiness for me to stand at the origins of a new life, to provide assistance in this mystery that starts with planning pregnancy and ends up with birth, to help women make their dream of becoming a mother come true.
In the O.L.G.A. Clinic my role is communication, guidance and support of our pregnant patients. I stay in touch with them until they give birth to their child and also we keep contact during the first month after birth.
My motto at work is “To miss nothing important and to do not more than necessary”.

My personal interests
I have a family and a son who is an adult now. Sometimes I spend my free time alone, but more often I try to spend it with my family.
I keep healthy lifestyle. I like physical exercise as it is an important part of well-being and a good opportunity to relax. From time to time, I go swimming to the gym. And several years ago together with my family, I became keen on roller-skating and when the weather is good, we like roller-skating all together in the city.
Ballroom dancing is an important part of my life. The plastique of movements fills me in with the energy and the audience’s emotions truly cheer me up. I attend dance school where I learn and perfect dance elements in Bachata, Jive, Tango and Cha-cha-cha dances, this is now an important part of my life when there is some free time available. In my relationships with people, I usually feel and know if they need me now or if it is better to give them some space. This lets me be in my element while dancing.
Travelling is another big passion of my family. We prefer preparing for our journeys in advance. From books and films we learn about the history of a country that we are going to visit and when discuss with each other things we found out. Out of love for history and culture of diverse nations for quite a long time I even attended lectures at the State Museum of the History of Religion.
During our trips we, of course, try to visit the sights that seem to us most attractive but at the same time it is equally important for us to get acquainted with the local cuisine. From every country we bring recipes of the most fascinating fine dishes and when at home I buy all the ingredients for these dishes with a meticulous attention to every detail and following the recipe closely I try to recreate this dish by myself. Even the spices for these dishes I buy ungrounded to keep every light aroma that they give being grounded at the very moment of cooking the dish.
In our family there is always space for a pet. I have had a cat, a dog and a rat. Now the king in our family is our marvelous cat (bobtail) who I should have mentioned in the very beginning as he is undoubtfully a family member. He is very sociable and behaves like a human. He is always extremely discontent if for some reason he is not allowed to join people’s company.
I like that thanks to a big number of hobbies I always can find myself what to do. Museums, theatres, city walks, studying culture of different countries, housekeeping and taking care of a pet, cooking and more active outside activities — all these things are, of course, not for an everyday life, but they allow me to make good use of every free minute I have.
