Maria Jeffs

Patient Coordinator

My name is Maria Jeffs, I am a patient coordinator in O.L.G.A. Fertility Clinic.

    My education and work experience

I am from the north of Sweden, but I currently live just outside London with my husband and three daughters. I have a degree in Business Administration and Economics and a Teaching degree from the Mid-Sweden University.

Since I met my husband while travelling in 1994, we have lived and worked in seven different countries. I am extremely passionate about working with people of different nationalities and backgrounds and I believe this clinic provides me with exactly that.

    My work in O.L.G.A. Clinic

I started working with Olga and her team in January 2016. I was drawn to the clinic as it gave me the chance to both work with people (something I love!) and to speak and write in my mother tongue despite living abroad, something which can be very hard to find!

I work as a patient coordinator and mainly take care of our Swedish patients. I also organize and travel regularly to Sweden for our seminars, where I get to meet many of our lovely patients in person. I really enjoy this part of my work, as it gives me an opportunity to come home to Sweden and also meet my fantastic colleagues on a regular basis!

I love my work as it enables me to support and guide our dear patients through a journey that can be very difficult and emotional. I am aware that it is a big and often scary decision to go abroad for fertility treatment. I am here for all your questions, big or small, and to provide any information that you may need; before, during and after your treatment.

I hope with my whole heart that through my support in your own language, I can make your fertility journey just that little bit easier.

I am immensely proud to be part of such a friendly, committed, and professional team. I am truly blessed to have the best colleagues in the world and to have found my dream job!

Egg donation is an easy and simple medical process with foreseeable successful results – healthy babies. The psychological aspect of accepting egg donation is significantly more complex, it needs information, dialog, support and time. Together with a brilliant therapist and our former patient Cilla Holm @jagvillhabarn, Dr. Olga is going to try to help you open the door to egg donation. Cilla became a mother using double donation in OLGA Clinic 7 years ago.

We will focus on diagnostics and individualized treatment of those inflammatory, hormonal, immune and other conditions that may impair implantation and lead to pregnancy losses. The goal is to increase live birth rates per each embryo transferred and reduce the potential number of embryo transfers till live birth by optimally preparing the uterus and the whole body for forthcoming embryo transfer.
