The work that I love
I received an amazing education. When I was choosing my future profession, there was no doubt for me: I wanted to become a psychologist. By the will of fate, I received two educations simultaneously: a psychologist and a translator in the field of professional communication — psychology.
I then worked for a long time in the car business as a head of customer relations, creating a consensus between customers and the management team.
Life itself changed my professional path: it brought me back to the university, where I received additional education as a perinatal and clinical psychologist. Interest in these areas of psychology was born together with my Son. Pregnancy and childbirth inspired me and completely changed my idea of motherhood. I vastly reconsidered my thoughts and judgments about the period when a woman carries a child and then she is literally reborn together with her child in a new role, the role of Mother. All this inspired me for a new round of development in this area of psychology. And also it led to the immediate birth of my Daughter.
So, in 2011 I started my life where there is no more work to accomplish, but there is a mission that inspires and leads forward.
Childbirth preparation courses, individual support, professional conferences, work in a maternity hospital to accompany childbirth... — with all this, I support women and couples not only when a child has been born in their family, but also in those moments when the desire to become a parent has already appeared, but the baby is a bit late. Every minute I realize that I am in the right place.
I am genuinely interested in people and their stories. I perceive each our meeting as an incredible degree of a person's trust for me. And I see my task as a nonjudgmental support along the entire path of parenthood which does not begin with the birth of the baby, but at the moment when the decision to become a parent is made.
With a light heart and an open soul, I give support. Together with a woman or a couple, we are looking for their own aspirations and desires. Offering my peace of mind and faith in the correctness of their decisions, I offer options! I am deeply convinced that every parent-to-be has a keen sense of which path to choose and what the ways to move along it are. However, it happens that the pressure of others, the opinion of society deprives you of strength and seems to lead you astray... Surround with warmth and care, give the necessary knowledge, relax physically and just believe in the strength of each person - these are my favorite, especially protected and tenderly kept tasks as a psychologist!
The O.L.G.A. Fertility Clinic
I could not even imagine that the clinic could offer future parents not only the highest professionalism but also a caring attitude, warmth and care, which are essential in such an important period.
From the first meeting with my future colleagues, I felt sincere care for myself: it manifested in the way interviews were coordinated and conducted, and how feedback was given. With each new fact about the clinic, I became more and more aware of how special this world is where you can be an important piece of an incredibly beautiful and well-coordinated process. It is like a precise Swiss mechanism, consisting of many high-quality and expensive parts that together create perfection.
For me, an individual approach is of high value: how nice it is to have the opportunity to work with people who put the uniqueness of each person at the center of the medical process.
My interests
My family loves delicious food. We often cook together, we like cooking a lot and something very tasty: we plan the menu, find new recipes, and enjoy the process.
Out of this hobby, the great idea of a friend film club was born: every week for already 13 years we have been meeting with several families of our friends, we watch movies and eat dishes prepared by each of us in turns. It is ideal if the national specialty of the dishes matches the country of the film origin.
We also love long bike rides as a family: both with views and through forests, swamps and other obstacles. This overcoming gives adrenaline and great satisfaction from the path traveled, joint efforts and common victory.
In 2022, I discovered boxing. I was never a sports person: sport was for me about an effort that you don’t want to make. And all these stereotypes were broken when I learnt about boxing, which then became my powerful source of energy. On the one hand, these are very intense workouts, and on the other hand, strong emotions, body capabilities, coordination and focus of attention. Boxing made it clear to me: “If I think that I have no energy left, I can’t sit by passively. Energy comes not from sitting around, but from moving. No energy – then move, create this energy”.
My hobbies give me a lot of emotions, resources and meaning. And if it starts to seem like the battery is low, then I just move faster, creating the right amount of energy for myself.
