Single women and couples carrying out fertility treatment often meet obstacles and stress along the way. Our patients are true fighters who follow their dream of becoming parents with strong determination and will. But sometimes even the strongest personalities need a shoulder to lean on. We have designed our Egg and Double Donation process exactly with this thought in mind and made it as easy and clear as possible.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If after having studied your journals, we see that Egg or Double Donation is the only realistic option for you to achieve a successful pregnancy and live birth, we will discuss this with you in the most gentle and comprehensive way, addressing all reasons, options, and alternatives. Then you might need time and space to understand and normalize your feelings about this route towards becoming a parent. In school we all were taught about how babies come into the world, but nobody was telling us about Egg and Double Donation, and how it is going to feel both for a mother and for a child in the future. Indeed, before taking this path you need to have answers to several essential questions: Will I feel the child is my own? Will the child love me? Will everything be as normal as can be?<\/p>\n

The process of medical preparation for the Embryo Transfer is the same, whether you are doing Egg Donation with your partner\u2019s sperm or Double Donation (Embryo Donation or Embryo Adoption). The medication is individual though and varies from patient to patient.<\/p>\n

    Shortly after you have sent us your initial e-mail to info@olgafertilityclinic.com or filled in a contact form at our website a patient coordinator from O.L.G.A. Fertility will call you to say hi. We assign a personal coordinator to each patient so you will not need to tell your story\u00a0<\/span>twice. She will be your first contact person in the clinic, providing you with all the information\u00a0you need about the process, potential packages and prices. The coordinator will provide\u00a0you with access to our Egg Donor Database and guide you in your Egg Donor choosing\u00a0process if needed; she will be assisting with practicalities, booking your consultations with\u00a0other team members (Doctors, Nurses, Donor Team, Psychologists) and eventually waiting\u00a0excitedly for the news about your treatment outcome.<\/p>\n

    As we work by the principle of personalized medicine, it is of paramount importance that\u00a0you provide us with your detailed medical data before your first consultation with our expert\u00a0doctor and let us know anything that may be relevant for your treatment success.     <\/a>Step 4:\u00a0Personalized Egg Donor choice and\u00a0donor egg reservation<\/h3>\n

    You can make your personalized Egg Donor choice<\/b> from our Egg Donor Database and you can\u00a0choose from more than 80 profiles of Egg Donors.<\/p>\n

    Each Egg Donor profile<\/b> in our Database includes Egg Donor\u2019s photos, motivation letter\u00a0explaining why she decided to become an Egg Donor, information about her character,\u00a0interests, jobs and educational level, health description of the donor, her child or children,\u00a0parents, siblings and grandparents, and many more details which can help you find an Egg\u00a0Donor who you feel confident and comfortable about.<\/p>\n

    You can choose an open (contactable) Egg Donor or a non-contactable Egg Donor. <\/b>Some\u00a0Egg Donors in the Database chose to be open (contactable), which means they agreed to their\u00a0ID release to offsprings created with the help of their donations, after children have reached\u00a0the age of 18 years, they are remaining non-contactable to you though. Some Egg Donors in\u00a0the Database chose to stay non-contactable.<\/p>\n

    When is the right time to make Egg Donor choice.<\/b> We recommend making Egg Donor\u00a0choice after you have had your consultation with one of our expert doctors (Step 2) and Egg Donation (or Double Donation) was recommended to you as the only realistic option to\u00a0achieve successful pregnancy; after you have spoken to one of our psychologists to normalize\u00a0your feelings about this method and answer fundamental moral and ethical questions you\u00a0may have about it (Step 3); and after you have spoken to one of our former patients who had\u00a0been in the same process in the past and already has a child or children conceived with the\u00a0help of a donor egg (Step 3). If you feel ready to deal with Egg Donor choice earlier than that\u00a0or feel that you need some time to get familiar with the Database, please ask your personal\u00a0coordinator to provide you with your free 7-day access to the Database and start surfing. If\u00a0you would like your coordinator to guide you in this process or discuss your choices with you,\u00a0please just let us know and we are there for you.<\/p>\n

    Donor egg reservation.<\/b> Please, keep in mind that we offer an opportunity of reserving your\u00a0donor eggs for you for the period of maximum 6 months. The above means that after you have\u00a0reserved your donor eggs you should come for your embryo transfer within 6 months. When\u00a0you have made your decision, please, inform us about it and we will send you the documents\u00a0and invoice to pay for your chosen reservation. Later on, this amount will be deducted from\u00a0the cost of your chosen programme.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

    We can always provide you with your access to enter the Database to get acquainted with it.\u00a0However, the reservation is made when you are ready to proceed with planning your treatment\u00a0with us and not later than 80 days before the date of your embryo transfer.<\/p>\n

    90% of the steps of your Treatment Plan you can complete while in your home country with\u00a0our step-by-step guidance. Together with the Treatment Plan we will provide you with an online private prescription for the medication included, that you can buy in one of European online pharmacies (we will provide contact details). Based on the logic of the Treatment Plan you\u00a0will need to do certain laboratory tests and ultrasound examinations on certain dates that you\u00a0will know long in advance to be able to book the relevant appointment locally.
