In&nbsp;this case either <a href=\"\/en\/infertility\/artifitial\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">artificial insemination<\/a> or&nbsp;<a href=\"\/en\/infertility\/ivf\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">IVF <\/a>methods can be used. In&nbsp;case of donated sperm <a href=\"\/en\/infertility\/icsi\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ICSI <\/a>method is not required in&nbsp;O.L.G.A. Fertility Clinic, because<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our prescreened donors have very good sperm quality:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ticks\">\n<li>concentration more than&nbsp;80 mln\/ml,<\/li>\n<li>progressive motility (A+B more than&nbsp;60%),<\/li>\n<li>normal morphololgy more than&nbsp;60%,<\/li>\n<li>cryotoleranse (does not loose it&#39;s quolities after&nbsp;freezing &ndash; thowing procedure).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In&nbsp;<strong>single women above 41<\/strong> mostly sperm donation + <a href=\"\/en\/egg\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">egg donation <\/a>or&nbsp;<a href=\"\/en\/embryoadoption\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">embryo adoption <\/a>methods are used because&nbsp;of low own egg quality.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sperm donors in&nbsp;O.L.G.A. Fertility Clinic<\/strong> clinic are sporty healthy well educated men between 25 and&nbsp;40 years of age who&nbsp;have own healthy children. They have pleasant appearance but&nbsp;no bright dominating features, so&nbsp;that&nbsp;the baby has high possibility to inherit the looks of the mother<\/p>\n<p>According to Decree N67, and&nbsp;in compliance with ASRM and&nbsp;ESHRE recommendations (American Society for&nbsp;Reproductive Medicine. 2002&nbsp;; ESHRE Task Force on&nbsp;Ethics and&nbsp;Law 2002),<\/p>\n<p><strong>sperm donors in&nbsp;our clinic undergo the following examination:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ticks\">\n<li>Sperm test<\/li>\n<li>Blood group test<\/li>\n<li>HIV, Hepatitis B and&nbsp;Hepatitis C (every 3 months)<\/li>\n<li>Genetic screening: genetic family history, chromosome screening.<\/li>\n<li>Annual appointment with a Therapeut (general health checkup).<\/li>\n<li>Annual appointment with psychiatrist.<\/li>\n<li>Appointment with&nbsp;andrologist incl. tests for&nbsp;genital infections (Chlamydia, Herpes, and&nbsp;others every 6 months).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Only frozen-thawed sperm is allowed for&nbsp;use in&nbsp;O.L.G.A. Fertility Clinic. A sample is frozen and&nbsp;stored 6 months, after&nbsp;which&nbsp;the donor repeats his blood test for&nbsp;HIV, Hepatitis B and&nbsp;C. If&nbsp;the result which&nbsp;shows no infection, the sperm can be used for&nbsp;a patient. Only frozen sperm use helps to avoid transmission of such serious infections as&nbsp;HIV, Hepatitis B and&nbsp;C.<\/p>\n<p>Selecting an anonymous sperm donor, we consider race, height, skin, eyes and&nbsp;hair color, blood group and&nbsp;Rh-factor, as&nbsp;well as&nbsp;special concerns of a couple. Recipients are provided&nbsp;with comprehensive non-identifying information about their sperm donor (i.e. such information that&nbsp;does not contain any personal data). For&nbsp;the purpose of keeping the sperm donor&#39;s privacy untouched, we don&#39;t supply photographs.<\/p>\n<p>Full anonymity is supported by legislation of Russian Federation (Foundations of legislation of Russian Federation on&nbsp;protection of people&#39;s health (revision as&nbsp;of 20 December 1999, item 35). We treat absolute anonymity with respect. We inform our patients that&nbsp;if&nbsp;the procedure is anonymous, no identifying information will be disclosed to the parents or&nbsp;the&nbsp;sperm donor. No information about the fact of sperm donation will be disclosed by the clinic to the child.
