Fertility Clinic does not supply donors’ photographs. However, we take photographs of egg donors and egg recipients, and compare them providing a match as close as possible. This is of course particularly important if you do not come for an Initial Consultation. The recipient’s private information is also not revealed to any third parties or the donor. This makes our egg donation private.<\/p>\n \n\tMedical and psychological health of all our egg donors we enlist in our bank have been thoroughly tested during our recruitment and screening<\/a> process. Whichever one we choose, you can be sure that she meets these requirements.<\/p>\n \n\t \n\tWe believe in matching you in a very individual and private way to the right donor. This means that we meet you in person at your Initial Consultation in order to know your wishes on the donor’s characteristics before suggesting a donor (unless you use our Shared Care<\/a> programme). We always try to find out what characteristics are most important to you. For the majority of infertile women, this involves finding a donor who has an appearance as close to theirs as possible. We therefore provide comprehensive non-identifying data about their egg donor (i.e. such information that does not contain any private data). We always meet our donors personally to make sure the match is the best of all possible options.<\/p>\n When choosing an anonymous egg donor, we try to find you the most attractive donor who fits your profile (race, height, build, eye, hair and skin colour). We can also match such parameters as blood group and Rhesus factor. Since a donor’s intellectual abilities are also often an important aspect, we note her level of education and provide details of her occupation. Also, we can search for a donor who has specific characteristics (such as a Jewish donor) if couples have individual concerns. Many of our donors are of North European appearance, with blue\/grey\/green eyes and blonde or brown hair. So, in most cases it is possible to match you with a brunette or blonde donor who has the same eye colour as yourself.<\/p>\n Once you have let us know your requirements, we start searching through O.L.G.A. Fertility Clinic’s databank for the most suitable donor. We always meet our donors individually to ensure the best possible match. We give you details of our proposed donor’s age, weight, height, hair and eye colour, education, occupation, and the age of her child\/ren, and then ask you to make a decision. If you are not satisfied with the donor we have suggested, you are of course free to ask us to look for another match.
