I\u2019ve studied medical biophysics in\u00a0Moscow and\u00a0in 2019 I graduated with honors from Russian National Research Medical University. My academic experience includes participating in\u00a0scientific studies of mitochondria and\u00a0oxidative stress in\u00a0patients with obstetrical complications and\u00a0infertility. During that\u00a0time I, so\u00a0to speak, fell in\u00a0love with reproductive medicine in\u00a0which fundamental biological knowledge meets the clinical perspective.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve studied medical biophysics in\u00a0Moscow and\u00a0in 2019 I graduated with honors from Russian National Research Medical University. My academic experience includes participating in\u00a0scientific studies of mitochondria and\u00a0oxidative stress in\u00a0patients with obstetrical complications and\u00a0infertility. During that\u00a0time I, so\u00a0to speak, fell in\u00a0love with reproductive medicine in\u00a0which fundamental biological knowledge meets the clinical perspective.<\/p>\n<p>My path after&nbsp;graduating from the university could have been connected with science more than&nbsp;with practical medicine. But&nbsp;in 2019, I was invited to work at&nbsp;O.L.G.A. Fertility Clinic, and&nbsp;I started engaging into activities that&nbsp;are in&nbsp;many ways quite similar to scientific, and, in&nbsp;my opinion, no less important.<\/p>\n<p>For\u00a0sure, embryologists are neither magicians nor\u00a0gods; but\u00a0every day we get to see a sneak peek of what is normally hidden about the origin of life \u2014 something you can never get bored with. There is something thrilling and\u00a0magic about the thing that\u00a0right now\u00a0I am taking care of the growing embryos and\u00a0later on, on\u00a0a due date, somewhere far away, sometimes even\u00a0on\u00a0the other side of the Earth, children will be born\u2026<\/p>\n<h3>The O.L.G.A. Clinic<\/h3>\n<p>The place where\u00a0I\u2019m privileged to work now\u00a0could fulfill the demands of the pickiest person \u2014 both from the professional and\u00a0human point of view. At\u00a0the very moment I saw Dr. Olga and\u00a0Dr. Elena (and later the rest of the Team) in\u00a0action, I was captivated by the evidence-based \u2014 but\u00a0also \u00abheart-based\u00bb \u2014 approach to the treatment they pursue in\u00a0their work.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, every achievement is always the result of teamwork. I value a lot this feeling of being a part of the well-oiled machine each piece of which\u00a0is my colleague whose professionalism I trust undoubtedly. Working to make somebody\u2019s dream come true and\u00a0together with the colleagues from whom I keep on\u00a0learning \u2013 it is indeed a big responsibility and\u00a0a great opportunity.<\/p>\n<p>All in&nbsp;all, everything that\u00a0happens within the walls of our clinic is done in\u00a0the name of our brave patients and\u00a0their dream of parenthood.<\/p>\n<h3>Work experience<\/h3>\n<p>Since&nbsp;2019 \u2014 The O.L.G.A. Pirogov, Department of Medical Biophysics,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>biophysicist (higher education)<\/p>\n<p>2019 \u2014 \u00abICSI, practical course\u00bb, by \u00abORIGIO\u00bb, Saint-Petersburg<\/p>\n<p>2020 \u2014 \u00abAssisted reproductive techniques and\u00a0practical embryology: simulation-based training course on\u00a0embryology\u00bb; First St. Petersburg State Medical University named after\u00a0academician I.P. Pavlov.<\/p>\n<h3>My personal interests<\/h3>\n<p>I am convinced that&nbsp;the work of an embryologist should not be limited to just mechanical manipulations. In&nbsp;my opinion, the human body is the most fascinating object to study and&nbsp;an amazing creation of nature.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, outside the laboratory, I devote a lot of time to deepening my knowledge in&nbsp;related fields of biology and&nbsp;medicine.<\/p>\n<p>I also try to leave time in&nbsp;my schedule for&nbsp;the fruits of human imagination &#8211; classical music, theater, and&nbsp;exhibitions.
