I knew in&nbsp;advance that&nbsp;after&nbsp;35 years of age it would be difficult to get pregnant with own eggs. So&nbsp;had made a plan in&nbsp;advance as&nbsp;the project manager I am: own eggs in&nbsp;Scandinavia, own eggs at&nbsp;Olga clinic and&nbsp;then Donor eggs if&nbsp;my own eggs didn\u2019t work, I had a mission to take on.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"al w30p\" src=\"https:\/\/olgafertilityclinic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/2_image.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"640\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Little did I know the Scandinavian clinics did the job so&nbsp;poor and&nbsp;treated everybody as&nbsp;an assembly line.\u00a0Neither the Danish or&nbsp;the Swedish clinic manage to fertilize my eggs and&nbsp;also picked the eggs too early.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I had heard about O.L.G.A. clinic and&nbsp;its good reputation and&nbsp;contacted them in&nbsp;2020. Still realistic about succeeding with my own eggs but&nbsp;O.L.G.A. clinic wanted to give it a go. The treatment plan was individualized to me, and&nbsp;they managed to fertilize the eggs and&nbsp;perform PGT-A on&nbsp;the first IVF round. There it was unfortunately chromosome deficiency. A second IVF was performed where&nbsp;O.L.G.A. clinic with their expertise realized it was something off and&nbsp;asked me to come in&nbsp;for&nbsp;a genetic blood sample test.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"ar w30p\" src=\"https:\/\/olgafertilityclinic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/3_IMG_4738-rotated.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It was then my genetic disease was discovered that&nbsp;the Swedish and&nbsp;Danish clinic missed. Had the Swedish clinic made this simple blood test to start with I had saved myself 5 IVF attempts and&nbsp;started with <a href=\"\/en\/egg-donation\/\">egg donation<\/a> firsthand and&nbsp;also saved years in&nbsp;the making.\u00a0Since the genetic disease makes me infertile.<\/p>\n<p>And&nbsp;what a journey it has been, traveling during the pandemic, performed 2 IVFs and&nbsp;2 donor eggs implantation, along with ERA and&nbsp;hysteroscopy, making it 5 trips to Saint-Petersburg. It has been an adventure and&nbsp;I have said to friends I should write a book \ud83d\udcd5 about it.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>During this journey\u00a0\u00a0I have made new friends for&nbsp;life, along with the best gift my \ud83d\udc99 baby boy Theodor \ud83d\udc99 now&nbsp;almost 6 month old, all due to O.L.G.A. clinic.
