“It took seven years to finally feel the small flutters of a baby moving in my belly. Seven years of hardship and longing. Seven years of despair and hope. And finally, after eight long years we set our eyes on our daughter in January 2023. Our dreams came true, and we owe all our thanks to the OLGA Clinic.<\/p>\n

We started to try for a baby when I was 33 years old (2016) and the years went by, and nothing happened. We didn’t get pregnant, and we finally sought help and after some examinations I was told I had plenty of follicles and we needed to give it more time. We got both a second and a third and a fourth opinion and we were repeatedly told that we would not need to worry, and we would become pregnant naturally. We continuously were given the same answer \u2014 give it more time.<\/p>\n

Finally, I was referred to a specialist who found a polyp the size of a golf ball in my uterus. The polyp had effectively hindered any chance of me getting pregnant. In 2020 the polyp was removed during surgery and just a couple of months later I became pregnant. Unfortunately, we experienced a missed miscarriage and due to complications, l had to undergo a surgery to stop excessive bleeding and remove remaining tissue. The miscarriage hit us hard, but we were ready to give it another try. I became pregnant again but again I experienced a miscarriage, excessive bleeding and had to undergo another surgery. Loosing yet another pregnancy after waiting for so long became even a heavier blow. I was exhausted and depressed, and I knew I couldn’t just continue trying as we had done previously and that we had to do things differently.<\/p>\n
