Charlotte, 47 is an architect, historian and a single mother of two from Berlin. She chose to have her two children using help from OLGA Clinic. Her first child is created from her own egg and donor sperm and she chose to use the double donation for the second child.
I invited Charlotte to participate in our webinar 25 November in which she will answer your questions and share her views on the following topics:
- Creating a family without a partner
- Motherhood after 40+
- Emotional bond to my two children – is there any difference?
- My approach to choosing my donors
- Differences between treatment in Germany and in OLGA Clinic
Dr. Anastasia, Charlotte’s treating doctor, will join too to answer your medical questions.

Nelly, 44 is a teacher from Darmstadt, Germany who chose to become a solo mother with the help of double donation in OLGA Clinic.
When I asked Nelly: what message she wished she had received 5-10 years ago, from her current self, she wrote me the following:
“Words to My Younger Self – On My Journey Toward Motherhood
10 years ago:
You want a child — and you don’t need a partner for that. Trust your heart; it knows the way better than anyone else’s expectations.
8 years ago:
Allow yourself to look for extraordinary and creative solutions. Open your mind to new paths and don’t limit yourself to the familiar, conservative world around you.
6 years ago:
Surround yourself with people who understand you — kindred spirits and experts who can support and uplift you. Create an environment that nourishes your hope.
4 years ago:
Let courage, hope, and love guide your steps — not fear, not doubt, not uncertainty.”
Nelly will share her story and her views on solo motherhood and double donation in our webinar 25 November at 18:00 CET
I also invited Nelly’s doctor — Dr. Anastasia to join and answer your medical questions.
