What makes O.L.G.A. Fertility Clinic a good egg donation clinic?

Egg donation is not the method of choice — it is the method of exclusion

After 3 IVF in Sweden, 3 miscarriages, Elisabet and Pär became parents of lovely Ester through egg donation in St. Petersburg

Why choose O.L.G.A. Fertility Clinic?

One of the main specialisations of O.L.G.A. Fertility Clinic is egg donation. Many of our patients travel from other European countries to access our services. There are several reasons for this. Laws of some countries do not allow egg donation at all, while many egg donation clinics in Europe have strong restrictive age limits, high prices, low success rates and long waiting lists. And one more reason is that O.L.G.A. Fertility Clinic has a personal donor-recipient matching programme, which many clinics do not support.

Donor egg itself

O.L.G.A. Fertility Clinic - a professional egg donation clinic.

Most of the foreign patients come to our clinic for one reason: to try to have a child through egg donation. They travel to O.L.G.A. Fertility Clinic in St. Petersburg, Russia, because it is very difficult or nearly impossible to try egg donation in their home country. O.L.G.A. Fertility Clinic has a lot of expertise as an egg donation clinic, and it has its own bank of egg donors. We have high pregnancy rates, reasonable and clear prices and no waiting list for egg donation. All of our key medical and clinical specialists are members of ESHRE (the European Society of Human Reproduction & Embryology). In addition, our egg donation clinic is known for satisfying extremely high standards and is the only fertility clinic in Russia with ISO-9001 certification.

O.L.G.A. Fertility Clinic is one of the largest and most experienced fertility clinics in Russia. We have been established in 1996 and since then we treat about 200 foreign patients per year in addition to more than 2000 Russian patients. This has enabled us to build up great expertise in the field of egg donation. We attract talented specialists from all over Russia, and have been able to achieve very good results due to their high skill. Despite our size, our clinic retains a very personal feeling, and our patients are always assigned an individual doctor to look after them.

Donor anonymity

One of the main obstacles in being able to access egg donation treatment in many European countries is the shortage of egg donors. This shortage has got even worse in the last few years since many countries have passed laws to forbid ‘anonymous’ egg donation. Because of the removal of donor anonymity in these countries, many sperm and egg donors have decided not to offer their services anymore. In Russia, anonymous egg donation is still permitted, and donors may also be compensated properly for their time and effort. We therefore have no shortage of donors at O.L.G.A. Fertility Clinic egg donation clinic.
