Embryo donors

All of our egg and sperm donors that participate in embryo donation programme have been thoroughly tested for medical and psychological fitness during our recruitment and screening process. Whichever donors we recommend, you can be confident that they meet these requirements.

Egg Donors

Egg donors at O.L.G.A. Fertility Clinic are healthy, young, attractive and well-educated women under the age of 30 who have their own healthy children, an ideal medical history and perfect follicular reserve and laboratory results.

At O.L.G.A. Fertility Clinic we perform a very accurate and critical screening of potential egg donors who must pass a number of medical tests before they can join our donor bank. They are also psychologically screened and counseled to ensure that they are comfortable with the commitment required in egg donation. Our selection process for egg donors enables us to offer you the reassurance you need in making your choice.

Because we only involve potential donors under the age of 30, with good follicular reserve and that have their own children in the egg donation programme it is always possible to collect a good number of eggs even after very modest stimulation dosages and this low dose stimulation allows us to preserve the natural egg quality and create highly effective donor embryos.

Our thorough egg donor medical screening process enables us to offer you the donor eggs of the highest quality so giving you the best possible chances of success with highly effective donor embryos.

Sperm donors

Sperm donors in O.L.G.A. Fertility Clinic clinic are sporty healthy well-educated men between 25 and 40 years of age who have own healthy children. They have pleasant appearance but no bright dominating features.

Our thorough sperm donor medical screening process enables us to offer you the sperm of the highest quality so giving you the best possible chances of success.

Our pre-screened donors have very good sperm quality:

  • concentration more than 80 mln/ml,
  • progressive motility (A+B more than 60%),
  • normal morphology
  • cryo-tolerance (does not lose it's qualities after freezing – thawing procedure)

Our donor sperm does not require using microinjection of sperm in the egg called ICSI. Even after having been frozen-thawed our donor sperm can fertilize egg in the most natural way: either via insemination or simple IVF in a test tube.

Only frozen-thawed sperm is allowed for use in O.L.G.A. Fertility Clinic. Using frozen sperm helps to avoid the transmission of such serious infections as HIV, Hepatitis B and C. A sample is frozen and stored 6 months, after which the donor repeats his blood test for HIV, Hepatitis B and C. If the result which shows no infection, the sperm can be used for a patient.

By creating donor embryos from fresh donor egg and frozen-thawed sperm from our sperm donors fertilisation always takes place through the natural method (by just mixing the eggs and sperm) which allows natural selection as to which sperm will fertilise the egg, provides maximal embryo quality and success rates.

Upcoming Webinars

We will focus on diagnostics and individualized treatment of those inflammatory, hormonal, immune and other conditions that may impair implantation and lead to pregnancy losses. The goal is to increase live birth rates per each embryo transferred and reduce the potential number of embryo transfers till live birth by optimally preparing the uterus and the whole body for forthcoming embryo transfer.
